“He was off like a shot.” Lol!! My now-deceased Yorkshire terrier only stopped darting off to explore–without looking where he was going or thinking how he would get back in any way whatsoever–when he was too old to walk more than 10 feet at a time. It was uncanny how far he could go in just seconds.
