Whenever I walk Max and Remy I always see the little lawn signs that tell you to keep kids and pets off the grass because it has just been sprayed. And every time I think to myself, “Are we that insane of a species that we spray dangerous chemicals on our lawns. Chemicals dangerous enough that we have to warn people to stay off?”

And let me tell you, I’m no “treehugging, all chemicals are evil” kind of guy. But isn’t it obvious that this is probably a no-no. Isn’t your grass the favorite place to play for your children and your pets when they are outside?

A few houses down from me is a Presbyterian Church/Daycare Center. Every morning as I walk my dogs past it on the sidewalk, I see the kids playing on the Church lawn… right next to those little yellow signs.
