I am very lonely without a dog..I have always had one and now I can’t 🙁 My last dog was a rescued dog, she is fabulous, but I didn’t get custody of her in the divorce..:( I WANT A DOG !!!
so get another one. it’s not like there’s only one fabulous rescue out there. it’ll do both of you a world of good.
I could NEVER live without SEVERAL dogs. We have 6, all rescues. The joy that they have brought into our lives is beyond anything real. After I was diagnosed with cancer they all took it upon themselves to mother me. They would get in bed with me and encircle me. I was tucked in from head to toe with dogs. And they wouldn’t leave my bed until my husband got home from work. To this day, everyday after my husband lets them out for their morning potty, once back in the house they ALL come running into the bedroom and start licking my face. It is a beautiful, wonderful thing. I’d have to say, these dogs rescued me, not the other way around.
