As Max contemplates under the flag about his country’s 233rd birthday, (he is part American Foxhound after all,) The Dog Files wishes you and your family an incredible Independence Day (sans alien attacks!)
But please remember not to take your dogs with you to watch the fireworks. The loud noise can be very frightening because they have much more sensitive hearing than we do. Your hound may become very upset and run away when they are frightened.
That being said, let the festivities begin! Mom, apple pie, baseball and dogs! Don’t know why they left “dogs” out of that saying.
