I thought the same exact thing I have 2 dobies but the are black and rust but there is something about Patricks eyes that remind me of my dogs. He is beautiful and the people that did this to him should be punished more thaen 1000.00 and they should never own another “PET” again
These people who do such horrible things like this to animals…..Jail is just not enough…That person should be treated as she treated her dog….look at Vic his life has not missed a beat. sad really and humans are the superior race..We could learn a few things from animals

What disgusts me is that the woman responsible won’t get more that what amounts to a little embarassment and a slap on the wrist via some kind of fine. Her face hasn’t even been plastered all over the net..the very least of what she deserves, people being able to put a face to such cruelty. Not a one time offense but days weeks months of daily choices to do what she did to a living being. The kicker? She’ll be able to get another animal and repeat the offenses. The LAWS and REPERCUSSIONS have to change.
I can’t look at patrick w/out crying for all he’s been subjected to.
Thank God you had God watching over you. You’re a real fighter to live and I hope you go to a great family that will love you and show you that there are decent people in this world. There should be a way to find out who did this to you, because if they were mean and horrible to you then they would do this to humans too. I cry every time I see the videos of Patrick. I am an avid animal lover and what he has been through is deplorable!!!! Karma is a bitch and she will come back to haunt that woman if she hasn’t already. She should suffer like Patrick. Put her in a cage with no water, food or love and affection and see what happens! She should be charged with something other than a slap on the wrist!

I believe that it is time that we take matters into our own hands, we have no laws that protect innocent animals it’s time that we stand our ground and save them from such horrible torture. The person that did this to this beautiful animal should have the exact same thing done to them, if people realize that there will be a consequence for such actions maybe they might think before they do such horrible things.

There is nothing I can say that hasen’t already been said,but as I watched the video of patrick being healed I cried because the physical pain I could feel in my chest was overwhelming.To the very special people taking care of patrick ,you are selfless beautiful loving human beings for being so kind and loving to patrick and helping him to heal and get well.I could see hope in patricks eyes ,but yet so unsure of why he was there.Oh patrick sweetheart my heart and love goes out to you and I know you will get strong and god will put you in the perfect home I know he will.God bless you little boy.

My heart breaks for what he went through. And breaks more knowing that there are more cases like his. There must be the strictest of penalties for any abuse of an animal. I am so glad you are getting better!

First of all i cant imagine anyone doing this kind of thing to an animal a living thing. I know it happenes but it is horrible and the woman who did this to that poor dog ought to go to jial for aslong as someone that commited child abuse because thats what animals like children that dont grow up. Once iheard on facebook in an article a boy said his mom should go to jail for beating the dog cause its just a dog. Well no its not just a dog its a living breathing thing and dogs cats all animals cry when they are sad i have a dog thats cries when she is sad and they bleed when hurt cough when sick sleep when tired lick your face to give kisses cuddle up with you give hand shakes so yeah they are like kids wioth emotions and feelings and such. i think that even if the lady who did this to patrick doesnt go to jail sje should be banned in all 50 states from getting another pet of any kind but no she hasnt even been on the news on her face plastered on facebook or what not. its like shes getting away with murder cause that dog could have died. im sorry to go on and on but that video of what that lady did pissed me off so bad i cant stop going on and on. poor dog glad hes getting better and god bless him to hell with the lady that hurt him.

What a strong sweet dog.It is so hard for me to understand what kind of a sub human this was to treat a dog like that.I agree,anyone who mistreats an animal should suffer the same way.Let them see how it is to be starved an abused.It breaks my heart to see the abuse Patrick suffered.I hope that he gets a really great home.I know with blogs like this he has a really good chance at finding that good home.A lot of very loving dog lovers are seeing this.There will probably be someone looking to take him home soon.

That fat bitch looks like she had plenty to eat. She needs to pay a large fine and spend about 1000 hours community time working in an animal shelter and not feed for about two weeks (maybe she would lose some weight); and DO NOT allow to own another animal. What kind of example did she set for her children, or hang her along with Michael Vick.
People who treat animals like this should be treated the same way ! They should be treated like criminals ! Forbidden to ever have another animal, major fines to help dogs in need and prison time to give these people time to reflect on the severeness of there act ! Go Patrick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

poor little pup…i have a dog named patrick too and he was a rescue so this hit home, no animal should be treated this way….even the ones we eat should be killed in the most humane way possible….but if your so lazy and ignorant that u cant take care of a pup, rather than putting it in a bag and throw it away it has a better chance of survival if you let it go free in the woods or something…at least it would have a chance but when people do this its basically attempted murder…..keep truckin patty boy and i pray you find an awesome loving home to grow old in!
I am so happy to see Patrick recovering. It will be a long process but he is making his way and thanks to all those who have dedicated themselves to this pup. Truely a miracle and his previous owner should be greatly punished. No punishment could be enough for this person. I love you Patrick and pray for you all the time. You deserve the very best.
