That one dog with the black on his or her face looks like my dogs twin. Is it mixed or a certian breed? Someone dumped my dog at a horse sale. Don’t know a thing about her background.
How lucky you are to have such a wonderful pack of dogs!!! They all look so happy and healthy, even if Berry is sitting on all of them. I have 2 boys, Duke (7 yrs old) and Diesel (2 yrs old) and Diesel still thinks it is okay to sit on Duke. Both weigh 80 lbs, poor Duke, he takes it like the Mr. Mom he is.
Seems like this would be a dominance issue. I don’t know that I would encourage the behavior.
I admit that I didn’t scour every picture but in the ones I saw, none of the dogs were posturing or in any sort of dominant stance. Some dogs just like to pile on top of each other. My pack does the same thing, pup on top of pup. Sometimes they just like closeness like people do. My dogs can have entire couch to stretch out on but nine times out of ten, they are close enough so that some part of their bodies are overlapping!
