By Elaine Furst For Dog Files
A dog that had been stuck in a drainage system in Gonzales, Louisiana for about a week was finally rescued Wednesday morning.
There were four different attempts to get the dog out over the weekend but every time rescuers got close, the dog moved further into the drainage system.
It’s believed that the dog is a stray and was not really trapped. Rescuers said that there ways for the dog to get out on his own, likely, the same way he got in
Neighbors said they’re not sure how the dog got down there but they first noticed the dog about a week ago and despite their best efforts, they just could not seem to get to it. They were seriously worried about the animal’s health and threw the dog bread to feed him.
Renews ones faith in humanity. So happy that the pooch will find a loving home and get nurtured back to health.
please keep us updated on his story– would love to see how this all works out in his new home– Thank you! 🙂
WHAT A HEARTWARMING STORY!! BLESS THESE GOOD PEOPLE.
He was one lucky dog. I’m very happy that he is now safe.
