To Our Missouri Friends: Don't Forget To Vote YES! On Prop B

Hi guys, just wanted to remind all our Missouri Readers to please vote YES on Prop B.

The Dog Files is a “common sense” website whose goal is to let the world know about how “special” dogs are and that they ALL deserve our love, care and respect.

I’m not a “big government” guy, but I truly feel that America has no place for Puppy Mills that churn out unhealthy dogs like a factory. I’d be the last person to ask for more and more laws, but when it comes to dogs, I have to draw the line. We created this magnificent, social, loving creature and it’s up to us to protect them. There are over 3000 Puppy Mills in Missouri and they have been proven, time and time again, that they do not have the welfare of the dogs on their mind. That they just want to turn over their “product” as quick as they can and collect their profit.

So once again, Missourians, I ask you to go to the polls on Tuesday and Vote YES! on Prop B. And if you don’t live in Missouri, please help get the word out today!

Our dogs ask for very little, yet they give us so much! They deserve better!

Kenn Bell
Dog Files Creator

P.S. Please feel free to read the info I’ve included below. An informed vote is important!

Learn more about Prop B.

From HSUS:

At puppy mills in Missouri, dogs are crammed into small and filthy cages, denied veterinary care, exposed to extremes of heat and cold, and given no exercise or human affection. These puppy mills are cruel and the way these dogs are treated is wrong. Prop B will stop puppy mill abuses by establishing common sense standards for the proper care of dogs. The Humane Society of Missouri and more than 100 Missouri veterinarians urge a “YES” vote on Prop B.

Please vote NO on Prop B if you enjoy the right to own pets. Look into this law a bit more and you’ll find this will make things much harder for American farmers, will actually do very little to stop puppy millers. and most importantly it’s a big step towards making it illegal to own an animal.

If you like the freedom to own animals and have them as members of the family, please don’t support anything having to do with HSUS, they want to take that right away from you.

You’d be hard pressed to find a bigger animal lover than me. My animals are my life and I wouldn’t be alive without them. I have many doctors that would back that up.

I would love to stop puppy millers, very much so, but this is not the way to do it.
Education is. Educate people so they know how to recognize a puppy mill, how to buy from responsible breeders, and educate people to better care for their animals. That is how you stop puppy mills. Laws are for law abiding citizens, which puppy millers tend not to be.

One again, PLEASE vote NO on proposition B tomorrow.
Thank you for reading and please do your research before voting.
