Unless you’ve been hiding underneath a rock you would be more then familiar with the beloved Disney animated film 101 Dalmatians. Adapted from Dodlie Smith’s 1957 novel, this well known story revolves around a family and their canine companions that had to stay together overcoming hurdles that came their way through difficult times. This including the infamous evil villain Cruella de Vil.

Now, Madison Square Garden will be holding auditions for lucky dogs to win a “barking role” in the 101 Dalmatians Musical. The play will be held at the Theater at Madison Square Garden, April 7-18. Auditions will be held on Thursday, February 11 from 2pm – 3pm. Would your pup be fit for the star barking role?

Auditions will be held for 101 patrons that register their dogs for the opportunity to determine the best “bark” in NYC in front of a panel of judges. This including the stars of the show, live Dalmatians. Winning dog will have his/her bark featured in opening barking concerto of the 101 Dalmatians Musical. Along with the prize will be a six month supply of Purina Dog Chow, four tickets to the 134th Annual Westminster Dog Show, and four tickets to the opening night of 101 Dalmatians Musical including special recognition. The first 101 auditions will receive a voucher for a free ticket to a select performance. Does your pup have a bark fitted for a musical? If so, don’t miss out this opportunity!
