I recently introduced you Cody, the dog who worked as a store clerk at a Florida gas station. Unfortunately, Cody’s got so famous due to the extensive media coverage that even the health department took notice and they banned the owner from keeping the dog at the store. Although the only types of food served at the store are chips and candy bars, the rule is that dogs cannot be kept in the same room where food products, so Cody had to quit. The video below shows the heartbreaking moments of the last minutes of his last working day, taking off the BP shirt and leaving as an ordinary dog.

Dogs are a positive part of life. They are a gift. Life is so full of negatives we need a good dog in more business'. It is obvious the dog is well behaved and taken care of. I think our state and government services need to focus on real problems.

What a crock. Now this poor dog who is used to having company all day long will have to stay home, by himself and the owner states he doesn’t like being alone. Shame on you Florida Health Department, dogs are for the most part cleaner than some people.
