I’ve never liked PETA and now I have even more reason too. I read this on Terrierman’s Daily Dose Blog and it sent shivers down my spine.
This morning comes word that in 2008 PETA killed 95.8 percent of the dogs, cats and other pets put into its care last year.
In fact, during all of 2008, PETA found adoptive homes for just seven pets out of 2,216 animals taken in.
To be clear, the animals that were put down where not sick and injured animals: they were animals that PETA simply did not try to get adopted despite an annual operating budget of $32 million.
This information should finally make it clear that PETA does not care about our precious pets. They just want them to go away.
Please continue reading the whole article here. It’s that important.
wow. this is an eye-opener. thanks for the post.
Your welcome Anya! Help spread the word.
No surprise given their extremist stance on anyone having and caring for any animal. Perhaps their name should be People Against Animals – ethical treatment has no place in the title!!
The things they do to these animals are inhuman and sick.
