Meet Oscar, The Not So Handicapped Dog: Heartwarming Video

Oscar-Madison-Dog

Meet Oscar Madison, the little Dachshund that could! Oscar was a rescue off of NYC’s Dog Death Row, until his new family adopted him.

This video really touched me in way that doesn’t always happen. It wasn’t just because Oscar is a cute pup that has survived and thrived as a handicapped dog in New York City, but it’s the absolute love his human parents have for him. If you want to feel good about a world that can feel bleak much of the time, these are the videos to watch!

You can join Oscar’s Facebook page here.

Thanks for the great videos, Oscar and thank you to his parents for showing us what love can really do!

I’ve had many dachshunds in my lifetime. Only one that was immediately paralized. His intestines shut down within 5 days & vet had to PTS. They are my favorite breed! Never a dull moment. I used to breed & had many pups, all raised in home. I’ve had all colors, but only short hairs. Piebald are my favorite color. Oscar is such an inspiration to watch. He don’t act or think he’s disabled! What a wonderful boy!
