Dog With Human-Like Face Up For Adoption

tonic

Tonik, the male dog with the human-like face, is looking for a new home. He is 2 years old, a mix from poodle and shih Tzu was saved from Kentucky kill shelter. Penny Mills, a professional pet photographer, took some very personable photos of Tonik. As soon as they were published, a debate started on if the dog’s face is reminiscent of a human’s.

Jen Schwartz, the owner of Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Group in Indiana, which saved and now hosts Tonik, sent an email to Huffington Post saying that many dogs which needed dental care and had illnesses with expensive cure, had arrived recently at the shelter.

Tonik tries to get used to his new life but remains sweet and gentle to other dogs. He is not very social though and his new family should be patient and give me him time to adjust, especially if there are children in which case the dog may be a little overwhelmed.

Anyone who is willing to give $250 as adoption donation and cares to give love and attention to Tonik, should know that the dog is fully micro-chipped, healthy and fully groomed.

Find him on Petfinder.
