they probably live in an apartment that doesn’t allow pets, or maybe they have a child with allergies. I’m very sure if there was any way they could, they definitely would have adopted him. But I have no doubt that dog will find an awesome home soon.

God bless you for risking life and limb to save this lovely puppy. I feel ashamed that a member of my human race would be so callous to an innocent trusting puppy. ( they might be reincarnated as a squirrel and be preyed on by the canine race)
I think it’s possible the dog got in there on his own, because dogs have been known to get themselves into some pretty sticky situations! But either way, the fact that this man was able to save him was wonderful, and I’m sure that anyone who sees this will jump at the chance to adopt him. It was meant to be.

this story is old. I remember last reading that they ended up keeping him and changed his name to Shadow because all he did was follow the wife around. They have another dog and possibly cat, thats why they were going to adopt him out.

If there is 1 thing that makes me question my atheist beliefs is the presence of pure good and pure evil? No one has explained that fully to me yet.
I am a little skeptical. This guy just happens to go down this canyon and happens to find this emaciated dog?. It just doesn’t make good sense. And, like Judge Judy says, if it doesn’t make sense, it isn’t true.
