Until now, Jennifer Aniston’s new tattoo had curious fans wondering what the significance was of the hard-to-read inscription on her right foot.
As it turns out, the new tattoo is a permanent tribute to her late dog Norman – a Welsh Corgi-Terrier mix and constant companion who sadly died last month.
Aniston had Norman’s name tattooed on the inside of her right foot, in honor of their 15 years together. Norman was a faithful companion to the actress on film sets and at home in Los Angeles.
“I never thought that would ever happen,” Aniston said of Norman’s passing. “It’s just my way to pay homage to him … forever.”
Agree with Jennifer!…I tattooed my dog paw print in my wrist after she died, she was also 15, and even when she is gone, I will always have a little bit of her with me.

when my Boston Terrier Udo died I had a paw print cut into my ankle and some of Udo’s ashes rubbed into the cut. It healed around the remains and made a nice little scar. When I touch it I can feel the remains under the skin. Udo will truly be with me always.
My beloved Barney (English Springer Spaniel) died in 2003 at the age of 13. In 2010 I had puppy paws with a tiny red heart tattoed on my shoulder blade in honor of all my pet. The heart was for Barney. I still think about him constantly even after all these years. I think we all have at least one pet in our life that touches our heart that deeply.
That’s a rather odd place for a tribute tattoo. But hey, everyone’s different! I have mine over my heart for my past love dog.
Ohh! So many sad stories! Its so hard accept something what we lost and whant always remember them! i`ve lived a long hard life and i know how hurts it can be!
I don’t believe in tattooing your body, but for your dogs memory….weeelllllllll!! Maybe!!
