His road to recovery has just gotten even smoother.
Patrick, the dog from Newark, New Jersey who was rescued after being starved nearly to death and thrown down a trash chute, recently had a mass of hair, that was petrified like a rock, removed from his stomach via an endoscopic procedure.
The lucky pooch, named after St. Patrick, was also neutered and received a full dental cleaning.
Patrick has also gained some much needed weight, now weighing in at 36 pounds compared to being a mere 20 pounds when discovered.
Yay Patrick! I’m so glad he’s progressing well. He’s going to make someone a wonderful snuggledog when he’s back up to snuff.

Thank you GOD for sending YOUR angels to watch over this beautiful dog. I wish I could adopt him, I’d love to. He deserves to be loved. DOG spelled backwards is GOD and I believe that it is no coincidence. The closest love you will ever have to GOD’s love on this earth is a dog because they love you no matter what. GOD will see that those responsible are brought to justice. Patrick you are such a sweet boy. I love you.

i am so pleased that Patrick is getting on so well, and as made a good recovery from his operation. I have , been following this story avidly and often think about him,wonering how he’s doing. Wish I lived nearer so I could visit!!
