Proving once again that she’s unafraid to try anything, Kathie Lee Gifford took one for the Today show team and ate dog food on-air.
Though the dog food in question had been advertised as made from rolled oats and edible for humans, neither Gifford’s co-host Hoda Kotb, nor the show’s crew were willing to give the dog food a try.
Enter Gifford, who bravely popped a forkful into her mouth and washed the food down with red wine.
Her verdict? “Not bad.” That quickly changed, however, to “now it’s bad.”
Gifford then said she’d be taking the food home to her “puppies” and concluded, “If they don’t eat it I’m going to be sick.”
