Are Michael Vick’s Dog-Fighting Days Behind Him?

If you haven’t been checking the Bitch-Backs lately for fear of Robsten fans, you’ve missed a topic in the past few blabfests that’s sparked quite the debate between readers.

Michael Vick.

While a handful of readers have come to the defense of the football player slash dog fighter, Team Truth is not Team Vick, ’cause the awful horrendous truth is that we think, sure, Vick may have served his sentenced, but just how sorry is he?

Not very, it would seem.

A source close to Vick’s people says that the infamous sports star is frequently in Atlanta making his rounds lecturing kids about the evils of dog fighting and how it ruined his career and personal life.

    Michael Vic should not ever be allowed to own any pet . Not now, not ever. He is a sick and dangerous individual. His ‘brief’ incarceration was nothing more than a slap on the wrist , an inconvenience. He emerged from jail only to be rewarded with a multi-million dollar sports contract and pseudo-hero status. He has not and will not ever be ‘rehabilitated’ . All this talk about ‘repenting’ and being a changed man is pure PR created B—S—, being done to appease the big $ sponsors who fear the backlash of those who truly do love and care for animals…. and considering there are over 40 million households in the USA who own 1 or more pets…. that is a lot of potential lost business.

    Ruined his life. See, it should be. “I tortured and killed dogs and it was a terrible thing to do because those dogs didn’t deserve it and I’m a terrible excuse for a human being,” but what he means is “Killing dogs screwed up my endorsements and social life, so don’t hurt dogs, kids.” He’s a blatant, ignorant disgusting excuse for a human being and a total discredit to his race and species.

    Michael Vick should NOT ever be allowed to have another animal within 5ft. of him. He is only sorry because he got caught. What is he going to tell his kids when they ask for a dog, tell them the truth, you are an animal abuser, you killed dogs for money, and they won’t or shouldn’t ever let you be allowed to own another dog. I don’t feel one bit sorry for you, I think you should have been in jail a lot longer, you got off to easy, wished I was the judge, you would still be in there.
