WHAT: North Shore Animal League America and spokesperson Cesar Millan emâ€bark†on Pet Adoptathon Weekend 2010. The doors open for this 36-hour global pet adoption extravaganza on Saturday, May 1 at 9:00 AM at Pet Adoptathon headquarters, Port Washington, NY extending through Sunday, May 2, 9:00 PM. Over 700 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will be available for adoption at the world’s largest no-kill animal rescue and adoption organization. This year’s Pet Adoptathon is sponsored by Purina One® and BISSELL.
Cesar Millan, star of National Geographic Channel’s Dog Whisperer, will be on hand for Pet Adoptathon opening ceremonies, welcoming hundreds of adopters. Free issues of Cesar’s Way magazine will be given out to adopters and attendees while supplies last.
