awwwww I have 2 dogs and now i feel bad because yes i have raised my voice, but now i will TRY not to, and be even longer with them. I wish i could let them in my room but my dad doesn't let me. I do talk to my dogs and i hug and kiss them but not as much as they desserve. They are my only true friends. I should treat them better. god bless this four legged friends! <3

I think anyone who has been privileged enough to live in the company of animals should find this list of commandments quite easy to follow. Considering the unequivocal, unwavering love our four-legged friends freely give(even on the days… especially on the days the rest of the world has left us far behind), it's not much to ask. I love my dogs with everything I have and I wish I could say that I've never broken a commandment or two but that wouldn't be so true. I wish I could take back a time or two that my voice was raised or an hour or two that went to work instead of walks. To all the good people who posted about doing better(maybe hollering less, hugging more), do it today! But if your human, like me, and maybe spoke a decibel louder than you should have once or twice remember, for all that is to be admired about dogs, their ability to forgive is nothing less than incredible. Next time the piece of bread I left on the counter mysteriously goes missing, I might just pretend it was the cat. LOL!
