Thought I’d share some pics from location scouting for my giant size Dog Files Episode, War Dogs. This statue is just off the Garden State Parkway in New Jersey at the PNC Arts Center. They also have a Vietnam Memorial there. From the look of the first pic, I think, somewhere down deep, Max knew the importance of this memorial.
If you’d still like to donate so we can continue filming, please do so with the Red Donation Widget in the Side Bar at the right. Even five bucks would help us to our goal. Thanks so much!

Wonder why that's not in D.C. with all the other war monuments? Those dogs did and do so many courageous acts and are willing to give their lives for their handlers, which in turn is giving their lives for our freedom now isn't it?
I think there are quite a few war dog memorials around the country. It would be nice to have one in DC though.
I wrote a book last year. You may be interested. There are two monuments in Gettysburg PA with dogs on them. One is the 11th PA on Oak Ridge, another is the Irish brigade Monument near the Wheat field…. “Gentle when stroked, Fierce when provoked”… great motto!
Thanks Anne! What's the name of your book?
Ahh, nevermind Anne! I checked out your site! Thanks so much!
