The Dog Files

As most of you know, President-Elect Barack Obama promised his little girls, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, a dog when they move into the White House. Even though Malia is allergic to canines and they will probably have to get a hypo-allergenic dog, we thought it would be fun to take a poll on what kind of hound you think belongs in the White House.

You can get a mixed breed shelter dog that also happens to be hypoallergenic. I've got a poodle mix – cockapoo, terripoo, who knows and who cares. But he's sweet and loving and the perfect answer to their needs. But sorry, Pres. Obama and family, you can't have him! But know that there are others like him out there looking for homes.
