The Dog Files crew had a great time documenting Just4Pooches’ annual Howl-O-Ween Costume Contest. It was great seeing how much fun their customers had dressing up their dogs and coming into the store to show them off. I could tell these people had a deep, deep love of their pets and they were all so proud of them.
The Dog Files would like to thank Darren Tietsworth and the whole staff at Just4Pooches for inviting us to celebrate Halloween with them. Also, a big thanks to all the great dog lovers who spent weeks putting together such great costumes for their hounds.

The SI Yankee Stadium

Richie and Jennifer Levoi, Founders of a local Not-for-Profit company called Animals Rock Foundation, Inc., is raising money to build a State of the Art Non-kill Animal Rescue Facility in Staten Island. We are raising these funds by having a Dog Show in August at the SI Yankee Stadium and your dog can be featured in the spotlight in front of a capacity audience of 10,000 people with the chance of winning the grand prize of $1,000. After the Dog Show there will be a music concert featuring Richie Levoi's Billy Joel Tribute Band and celebrity and local music acts.

That was a hoot. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Not a big fan of dressing dogs up to look ridiculous but all concerned seemed to be having such a good time so perhaps I should lighten up.
